part 2 of rainy day
the girls are really doing well with the many days of rain, but today they may crack because an unexpected gift arrived on our door step. I had to cover it with a sheet because the contents are written on the outside of the box!!
Waffle-- our cat on the other hand is not dealing well with the rain. He wants out desperately. He meows at the back door pretty much all day. I let him out right before the pause in the rain and what did he do?... he got into a cat fight! Chloe luckily has super sonic ears when it comes to her kitty and came to his rescue. He came in reluctantly. But if it wasn't for that perfectly timed tiff the girls would have seen the fed ex truck placing the huge box on the porch and the gift would have been found out. So thank you waffle and random neighborhood cat for saving the day!
Me: Chloe and Mae please don't go outside there is a gift that you can't see.
Chloe: why don't you bring it in and hide it?
Me: it's just too big and heavy
Chloe: "mouth dropped" I HAVE TO LOOK!!
Me: closing the curtains .
so not only the rain.. but now the surprise is keeping them from the outdoors!

i'm sitting here posting these pictures
trying to find the words to describe our experience
at the farm this past week and I'm realizing there aren't any.
This experience has changed me and my family forever.
Never in my life have I felt such peace and happiness.
I am truly thankful for this experience and those who made it possible.
