weaving loom

We recently got to go back in time to experience pioneer life on the trail. While we were there we got to try out a bit of weaving. The girls loved it! so we had to make one. I picked up the frame pieces at the art store, poppie put some nails in the top and bottom and mae picked out some cute pink yarn. 

and ta da a homemade weaving loom!

"food street" is a concept chloe came up with for a comic strip. I love it!

this beautiful watercolor was done by chloe for a homework assignment from chris (her art teacher)

she choose this picture from a magazine and tried her hand at few of the techniques. 

and during all of this drawing and painting little mae is right there by her side drawing away!
