Mae has been six for only 9 days and what an amazing start she is having. She is trying new foods. List:
peanuts
chocolate chip cookies
apples with peels
tortellini
carrot cake
and jelly bellies
oh my!!
I included a sweet little playdoh girl she made today.

We would like to introduce you to Kendra and Bella the barred rocks(black and white). Sally and Gertie the cherry eggers (little brown guys).

The girls are in love.. Chloe woke up at 6 this morning to run out and be with them. Last night Chloe sat in the run and observed the ladies.

Chloe's observations: (in her own words)

the chickens comb really feels like a comb!
when I got them in the run Bella fell in love with me!
Kendra just flew up onto the wire, it was so funny!
the feet of the chickens feels like scales. I like it.
the nails really hurt!
