The frame is made out of old ikea bed slats, scrap wood around the house and flooring from the old landing. We made the front of the coop out of an old window.
the sides are constructed out of 4 salvaged picket fences
and of course a little help from mae...
and voila! All it needs now is a roof and chicken wire! Then the little chicks can move in!
this is so inspiring. cant wait to get ours built. are those the fences you hauled from the street over? i love that you repurposed most of that wood for the coop.
