I have heard tale of Ventura's many thrift and book stores so we hopped in the car this weekend and decided to have a look. Sweet aunt Jennifer tagged along and spent some time with the girls at the beach. (for some reason they didn't want to join kevin and I at the shops) It was so nice to shop and spend time with kevin alone. After we explored the town we headed down to the beach to pick up the ladies. The girls told us all about the dolphins they saw close to the shore. Chloe made a "treasure chamber" from all of the things they collected on the beach. Of course mae found some rocks! I forget how much the girls love the beach.. I need to remember how simple it is to take them for the day. Before we started our way back home we had to stop at rocket fizz for some retro candies! (mae got a lollipop the size of her head) she was so wiped out from her fun day and lolli she crashed all the way home.
