the endeavour

Who knew that I would be so impressed? Once you are there and actually see how huge this shuttle is, it leaves you speechless. I also was really moved by the pictures they had of the challenger. I was in 4th grade when the challenger went up. In Florida anytime a shuttle took off, the school would go out to see it leave it's mark in the sky. Of course the challenger was made to be a special day because of the school teacher who was chosen. I knew it was a big deal when it happened, but I haven't thought of it that way since and that I witnessed that part of history. I feel lucky to have been able to go and see the shuttle and that it lives here in LA.
